You know who else loved five year plans?

It's time to start calling these people out for the evil that they are.

These cities business should get a petition together stating if police are abolished then they are moving out!

Let's see what becomes of a city with no businesses to support it!

Anyone who has ever gone or lived in Philly knows how well this will go.

I can't wait to see it.

No petition will be needed. They will just leave.

Anyone who thinks we’re all of a sudden going to reach some kind of enlightened sphere of existence where we don’t need cops is delusional.

Anyone who thinks we can reach it in 5 years if a fricking moron.

And I generally agree with the BLM concept, but there is an issue when you only let radicals make policy.

We need police but maybe we need to reassess how we ask them to police.

I love that place. It's fun and energetic.
Now we'll see it turn to what it was in the 70's and 80's... before the days of Rudy Giuliani.

I guess it's better than Seattle's 5 day plan.

I have a one year plan. Pull out all police and emergency response resources from the inner city community of their choosing. Allow a governmental agency to take the tax dollars generated within said community and put in place the programs they desire without police involvement... no outside money from city budget... test the results.. they will receive no city police interaction or emergency services not outlined and funded within their own city backed budgetary constraints.. no police detectives.. no police patrols..nothing.. they desire community policing.. they get their wish. Put up or shut up time for these people and there local city council representatives

Yea but stating it will happen before they defund the police might stop the defunding before it starts.

You are right. I just assumed these idiots would know that this would happen, but sadly they probably don't. So yes, it should be brought to their attention beforehand.

Wait a minute. I've been told countless times that they didn't want to completely abolish police.

Was I lied to?

This is the leader of the local Philly BLM chapter. It doesn't appear she is speaking on behalf of all major cities. But I don't know, maybe that's her ultimate goal.

Oh, so it's just her? Minnesota didn't vote to completely abolish their police dept a couple weeks ago?

People swallow the first little lie and the liars just keep feeding the people lies. I don't understand how people can't, or most likely, refuse to see what is going on.
They came out and said "refund the police". Okay well when they're called out and people say "well that won't end well". They turn around and say "well, that's not really what we mean" wink, wink, nod, nod. All these cities that end up bowing to these peoples ideals and "plans" deserve all the bad shite that is coming their way.
