Happens every night. My son's truck window got bashed and couple things stolen friday night, might be these same pricks. Cops said there's really nothing they can do about it. Mostly teens stealing on behalf of adult theft rings. The items are sold on social media and once someone replies that they want it, the post is deleted (no pawn shops etc). The getaway cars are all stolen and police are instructed not to pursue. Unreal.

This is when someone needs a pit - let that dog out to have at them.
ETA: Aussie Shepherd would have alerted to them the second they walked near the house. At night, she moves around the house, looking out various windos. If I lived in NOLA, I would damn sure have a very alert watchdog.

You would never get any sleep. People are out waking their dogs at all hours of the day and night. I have to put gates in front of my windows just so my dog doesn’t go nuts every time someone walks in front of our house.

Yea, we don't have that much foot traffic. But, my dog is also good about discerning between shitty people and non-shitty people.

It's true the are targeted trucks because they think the baw that owns the truck has a gun in there...but they are also busting windows of just about every other type of car out there just for the frick of it
