quote:

Five teenagers were arrested early Friday morning in the killing of a former Belmont University student and singer in West Nashville.

A housemate of 24-year-old Kyle Yorlets found him inside their home with a gunshot wound Thursday just before 3 p.m.

quote:

Early Friday morning, Metro Nashville Police Department arrested five teenagers in connection with the robbery and shooting.

The suspects include three girls, ages 15, 14, and 12 and two boys, ages 16 and 13. Detectives said they will be taken to Juvenile Detention, and will be charged with criminal homicide.

quote:

The pickup truck was found abandoned on Timberland Drive, which is south of the airport. Witnesses on Timberland Drive told police they saw three juveniles get out of the pickup truck.

The pickup truck was stolen Wednesday in Oak Grove, Kentucky.

So many questions about this infuriating story.

Crazy. So they are from KY, and drove the stolen truck driven down to pillage nashville?

Has nashville gotten pretty bad over the last 10 yrs as people move down there from the north?

Terrible story - especially given the ages of all involved.

It seems like there has been a lot of crime coming from there in the past couple of years.

Oak Grove is considered a suburb of Nashville. Or at least part of the metro.

All we know from article is they stole a truck from kentucky. it doesnt say where they are from. And it was stolen right on the border, not too far away

Can you imagine being the parent of the 12- or 13-year-old and getting that call from Tennessee police?

It's a lot safer than when I was growing up 20 years ago. A lot of the core used to be no-go zones. The yankees and west coaster gentrified those neighborhoods.

I'm guessing if your 12 year old is involved in a multi-state crime spree involving murder you're not exactly Parent of the Year material.

In Tennessee, many people remember a slightly older group from Kentucky who came to Knoxville, abducted Channon Christian and Cris Newsome and after several days of torture , burn him, continued to torture her until they poured lye down her throat and stuffed her, still alive in a 40 gallon drum and sealed it.

These little s***s from Kentucky had to learn their nastyness from someone.
