Ok, so they arrested these guys for False Imprisonment. If the arrestees can provide proof this sicko was at location to have sex with a minor, sicko needs to be arrested too.
Personally, it sounds like they were holding him for police. A citizen can arrest for a felony that occurred in their presence.

Yea, so these guys knock the piss out of a pedo. We all cheer because pedos are on the lowest tier of humanity.
Because they broken a slew of laws and didn’t loop the police in, the perv walks and learns to be more careful. And, it probably never dawned on anyone that these guys did it for clicks. Engagement farming probably.
So not the win we all think it is. I’d rather the perv get arrested and end up on the registry. Guys like Alex Rosen do the Lords work, these morons, not so much

Nope. Guys like Alex from Predator poachers and Tommy from Colorado ped patrol often state they can’t detain a predator. All they can do is stall by having a conversation while LE is en route.
