HTF does someone get 5 DWI's and still be able to drive a car. She needs to be in jail for a while.

They suspended her license. What else are they going to do besides keeping her in jail forever?

She was not letting a suspended license stop her from getting behind the wheel.

She wasn't supposed to be driving. That is why she got the charge above.

Once you get a 3rd offense its a felony. You get a 4th and you should spend some significant time behind bars end of story.

Also, remember that any dui from over 10 years ago is not counted so i can guarantee this pos likely has many others. She is in her 40s so i doubt she just started randomly racking up DUIs 10 years ago.

Maybe she served time and had gotten out.
The only way to guarantee she never drives again is life in jail.

This isn't the first person to have multiple DWIs.
It seems like it is more common than it should be. The ones I don't understand or those who have 3 or 4 DWIs and has their license and insurance..
Does anyone know how it works with insurance after you have multiple DWIs? I'd imagine its relatively expensive for them right?

Sadly, it's not that simple. Most people with 4 or 5 DUI's never see sentenced time behind bars. Early ones get reduced, years between them makes them irrelevant, jails are overcrowded, etc
