Does the president have that much impact on the price of gas or is it private companies to blame?

Remember the XOM gains with $3.00 gas in 2005?

He doesn't care, you right-wing Earth Destroyer.

I'm with you. With all of this going on, he cancels even MORE O & G leases?!?
He is turning this nation into a cartoon.

It's really too bad those who actually voted for this shite show aren't made to bear the burden of their MASSIVE mistake. I'd love to see their noses rubbed in it....

Probably because they pumped a shite load of oil after a world economic contraction.

In economics, quantity sold kinda matters.

But, as usual, Marxist immediately assume its "greed."

Gas prices surged to record highs in 2008 right before the economic collapse. Looks like we’re heading to the same fate in 2022.

Yes. In april 2020 Trump had the price of oil down to below 0 and gas was gonna be under $1 until the Dems passed new environmental shite

Whats more interesting to me is that Democrats are still desperately trying to prop up the old man. We live in alternative worlds than they do.

Goes to show you that they don't care about the health of the country. They only care about the health of the party.

Oil demand per day may have jumped 5% between Q1 2021 and Q1 2022.
You think a 5% increase in demand caused a 300% increase in profit?

It is definitely "greed"

That's kinda the point of a business, make as much money as possible.

Hilarious that you don't think corporations have intense and selfish desire to accumulate wealth.

Yep. I mean...their stated goal is to have everyone driving around in electric vehicles- which BTW will not happen without products and components from China, who wants to dominate the world. These people are leading us down a rat hole that we may never escape from....Yes, I think their radical policies are absolutely deliberate to pursue this goal.

Think China will adopt the same policies? Get f**ked.

There was a Morgan Stanley analyst on CNBC this AM. He stated that War + Inflation = Energy Innovation. They are intentionally creating this crisis.
