re: 4 year old removed from pre-school by police for not wearing mask

Not to derail the culture war thread but…

If you read the article it seems pretty clear the father used his son to make a statement and the police were called to remove the father. Father, if he really wanted to not have his son traumatized as he claims, could have taken a stand without using his 4 year old as the linchpin.

That’s the quote from the principal to the father. Policy may be stupid but the principal and school resource officer probably aren’t bloody thirsty nazis/communists/globalists whatever that most in this thread seem so delighted over. If I’m trying to take a stand like this I’d rather do it where the blowback only comes on me and not my 4 year old.

Eta: title should probably be “4 year old’s father is asked to leave campus grounds by police as he repeatedly uses his son to fight a mask policy issue at school.”

Some guys in my department still wear one....

When the mask mandate was lifted my boss said that we should still keep a mask handy until you realize the audience you are dealing with. The general public is rather dumb.

So I wear one (mine is actually one of those cooling things that can go around your head/neck)when first dealing with a person. If they don't have a mask I ask if I can take mine off. Only had one person say no.

These are all intelligent responses; however, can any of you comment as to whether I am incorrect that the father appears to be the one who is being asked to leave after multiple interactions with the principal.

Just seems like clickbait titles that no one reads the article.

The mask Ms Fatty McKarenson is wearing is to Covid like a screen door on a submarine. Get over your power trips and GFYs.

Cops were there to remove the dad. Dad was mad that his special needs 4 year old is forced to wear a face covering for no valid reason. Most of the rest of the country has moved on but the covidians still cling to power whenever possible and it’s important to remember that.

The kid is more of a Patriot than 99% of adult Americans.
