So, what is the more likely explanation that explains that graph?

Older women are still in the closet and scared to admit their orientation

or

young women, due to ideology or as a method to cope with mental illness etc, view lgbt more as a movement against the establishment society than an actual identity movement. In other words, lgbt is the new goth, emo, etc
