3 UMass Amhearst students suspended/credits revoked for partying outdoors maskless

Absolutely fricking insane
Also the students aren’t getting their tuition back, they were off campus, and they have to reapply for the Fall semester. Plus there are multiple videos of tons of athletes and students partying their asses off outdoors celebrating their national championship in hockey.
Whatever twat sent that picture to the Dean should be exposed to the entire campus, treated as if she has airborne Ebola, and bullied off campus. The chick (no way a dude turned in that photo) who did this should be ruthlessly bullied and humiliated for being a rat twat for nothing wrong. And frick the administration especially. They’re suing, and I hope it turns into a 7 figure settlement.

What exactly are they losing? If it’s credits for since they’ve been in school that’s bullshite and wouldn’t fly I’d imagine. If it’s just this semester then it’s more arguable, but it seems like any decent lawyer should be able to get those credits to count, especially since/if they’ve actually done the work and have the grades.

Did I type in a stupid font or something? Because clearly y’all are misinterpreting what I’m saying here. I’m saying this is bullshite and they shouldn’t lose the credits at all. I asked specifically what they were losing because the link was to Twitter and not a news article. So I didn’t see what it was exactly (like if it was just credits for this semester or all of them since they’ve been there).

There’s so many stupid things about this. For one, the students pay the University. The University works for the students. What gives the University authority to steal money from its clients based on a legal act that was done off campus? It’s like if I would order something from Amazon, Amazon learns I partied outside, and then Amazon decides to keep my money and not send me the product in order to punish me for that. What the frick? The University should be made a national embarrassment.
