I’ve got my gun with me now. I haven’t seen them once I got back to the farm but if I do I’ll probably approach them and use my best judgement. If they seem at all aggressive they gone

3 dogs of unknown origin on your rural property are going to eventually frick something up. They don't have the fear of us like other animals have because we've spent time rewiring that brain.
In city limits call animal if they aren't an immediate threat.
In the country, if you don't know whose dogs they are to call, judge em by weight and what's around that they can take down. If the calculus adds up to lethal pest animal. So be it.

I’m guessing that you’ve only lived in the city/suburbs. If you are 20 minutes from the nearest town, you are your own animal control. Nobody is going to come out and do it for you.

Yard needed cutting so I went out and started up riding mower. Pit went nuts, started attacking mower. 2 minutes later I was loading pit corpse into plastic trash can to dump and rot elsewhere on property and had a reason to clean my 30-30 before hunting season. (dang nice rifle to lose in that tragic boating mishap)

I can’t even get the deputy sheriff to come out here and arrest a guy trespassing that broke into a house being unused. He told me to deal with it as I see fit so I got a gun and chased him out of there.
The Ms delta is pretty much devoid of any law enforcement they just collect a check. Not sure we even have animal control tbh. I’ve never seen or heard of one here

If there are kids/old folks around feral dogs can be really dangerous to them. I'm a dog lover but ferals get dealt with indiscriminately.
