Typically a no chase policy. I've also watched someone steal a TV from Walmart and the manager didn't do shite... I called the cops myself because the manager didn't give a shite

Corporate would rather take the loss itself than assume the PR hit or legal costs involved with stopping them, I’m sure.
Doesn’t help that BR has a history of people getting stopped by security only for them to steal the cop’s gun and execute them.

Fun fact, the woman’s mom used to be our housekeeper. She brought her thieving daughter to our house 1 time to help clean and she stole my laptop and PlayStation the next day. When we called her mom about it she said she had abandoned her 2 kids and left for Lake Charles. Glad she’s still a piece of shite.
