2nd stimulus payment

IRS website showed my payment being mailed on Jan 6th.
Thought I was going to have to take the credit on my tax return but I was surprised to get it in the mail today. Anyone else finally get theirs? Don't know why it was mailed as I got the first payment EFT.

2 years ago, I got a small refund on my taxes. Last year I had to pay. I thought maybe that had something to do with it. Anyone else maybe have that same scenario?

Mine still says "scheduled to be deposited" in my account on Jan 4th.
Problem is that account is now closed (changed banks).
If I don't get anything in the mail by the time I file taxes I'm just going to have to claim it then I guess.

They actually mailed the check on the 6th and the post office took this long for you to get it? Or did the IRS sending it later than the 6th

The first time, they gave you an option to enter your account information for the deposit- apparently, they didn't keep that information

They’re mailing checks? I didn’t even know I’d get anything until the $600 just showed up in my bank account one day. Was a solid surprise.

My son received his today also and he had the Jan. 6th mailing date as well. Don't know why it took so long.

Mine said mailed on 6th; guy at post office said they received a STACK of checks this past Saturday. Mine came in Saturday.
