Keep seeing proposals to keep armed police for violent situations, and then have 4 or 5 trained specialists for all the extra jobs cops perform.
How much do these people think hiring 5 folks to do the job we ask one to do now is going to cost? Then remember all these specialty slots will have to he sufficiently staffed 24/7/365.
