27 arrested, more expected in Lincoln Parish drug round up

LINCOLN Parish - The Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Office is currently conducting an on-going drug round up in the parish.

Officials tell us the round up started on Monday, .

Deputies have made 27 arrests as of 4:50 p.m. Tuesday with more being sought.

The names and mugshots of the arrestees have not yet been released.

The Sheriff's Office is planning to hold a press conference at the Public Safety Complex on Thursday at 4 p.m. to provide details on this round up.

I grew up in Lincoln Parish.

Most of my Baws are over the drug stage though

Being from this area, I hope I don't know or know of any of these people arrested......but I probably will.

Ruston Cops love to have something to spice up the boring newspaper.

The numbers are in - 32 arrests, 86 felony charges.

$20,000 worth of dope off the skreets, $4,000 cash, one AK-47.

Breakdown of drugs:

1.1 lbs of marijuana
92 grams meth Hoooly sheet
36.9 grams cocaine

Stopped at that gas station at Farmerville and MLK once. 2 back dudes immediately walked up to the truck assuming we were there to buy weed

Theres more drugs then that being hauled thru Ruston on I 20 everyday.
