Yes or no?

I like them but they are underpowered for me.

If you want a people carrier, there are better options. If you want a Land Cruiser, I would tend toward finding a low mileage Series 80 or 100. You’ll pay the same price.

Everyone I know that bought one loves them. People will nit pick but you wont find an owner in this thread that truly regret the purchase.
Basically people on the sideline saying they wouldn't date Megan Fox because of her thumbs.

You want a midsized suv power by a turbo 4 cylinder?

My use is just street driving. Coming from a tahoe.

Absolutely. Not a 1970’s Cruiser, but not bad…

The thing has twice the amount of HP the 80 series does.
People will shite on the new Landcruiser about not having power then lament the older Landcruisers that had no power.

They’re dumb. They’re the size of a 4 runner now but 15-20k more. Yeah I’ll just take the 4 runner

They look bigger than a 4runner. I have owned a lot of 4runners.

In the US they aren’t full sized Land Cruisers anymore. They still sell full sized ones in international markets. Not worth the price they are charging.

How is it underpowered? Have you actually driven one?
It’s faster & has more torque than the 200 series…and more fuel efficient by a mile.

I had the 550 and traded it for a sequoia. The LC/550 was too small for me.
I had a LC200 and should have kept that. Right size and bulletproof and worth more now than when I sold it.

Wish they still sold the 3-door here.

My wife went from a v6 explorer to a turbo 4 cyl and I couldn’t tell the difference in power. It also has over 40% more towing capacity than the v6 did.

It seems like overpriced junk compared to what they were.

I like the look but just prefer them to offer a V8 option with more HP.

LC’s are definitely expensive but typically you get what you pay for with these. I understand wanting simplicity, but, the power train is proving to be reliable & robust with far better fuel economy, torque & power.
So how is it overpriced junk again? I can think of several examples of SUV’s from GM, Ford & Land Rover that actually are expensive junk.

When compared to the 100 and 200 series, you are getting less car, less reliability, way more electronics, and an engine that clearly won’t last as long as some of those legendary ones.
