rhetorical because we already know the answer is that states like Colorado, Cali, NY etc are letting criminals literally get away with murder.
Fair. But this Colorado Springs not Boulder. They have a Republican DA.

Look at how many people are killed by police every year.. People of every race and how many of them do you hear about?
Just like mass shootings, there aren't many.

It has been the same thing with just about every "mass shooting" over the past several years. The person was "known to the F B I" or, he had "been on a F B I watchlist". Hell, at least one shooter bought the firearms he used while being on a F B I list and while being "monitored" by the feds.
There are really only two possible realities with the F B I and these shootings. They either allow them to happen, or they are so damned incompetent that they can't stop them from happening despite knowing the inevitability of the people they are dealing with. Neither option is good.

Police were investigating whether the 22-year-old was the same Anderson Lee Aldrich who was charged with felony menacing and kidnapping in connection with a 2021 bomb threat last year in the city.
DO WHAT?? Why wasn't this guy locked up?

They're too focused on targeting their political enemies to worry about actual dangers to society.
Who cares about this obvious psychopath when you have Christians to arrest for praying in front of Planned Parenthoods?

That bomb threat case last year is weird as it was his mom that he threatened and who called it in to police. They didn’t find a bomb, but he was still charged with other crimes. Nothing else happened, and case was apparently sealed. quote: According to the June 18, 2021, press release from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, the reporting party “said her son was threatening to cause harm to her with a homemade bomb, multiple weapons and ammunition. The reporting party was not in the home at the time when she made the call and was not sure where her son was.” Authorities responded and realized the suspect, Anderson Lee Aldrich, DOB 5/20/2000, was in a residence 1 mile away. The deputies contacted him by phone and he refused to surrender. A tactical support unit responded to the scene and began evacuating 10 homes in the area as a precaution. Eventually he complied and walked out the front door after a crisis negotiations unit became involved, the release says. It says he was booked into the El Paso County Jail on charges of felony menacing and first-degree kidnapping. That press release said a mugshot for Aldrich would be released in the future. Heavy contacted the jail to seek that mugshot and was sent to a voicemail that is full. Authorities would not comment on any past criminal history for Anderson Aldrich. There is no ongoing court case listed for Anderson Aldrich in Colorado court records. No formal charges were ever filed, and the case was sealed, so it’s not clear why, Gazette.com reported.
Nothing worthy of suspicion here /sarcasm

How do we have a named suspect for this long but no picture?

I'll not support red flag laws because law enforcement and the justice system cannot currently enforce the laws we do have.
They can't be entrusted with more.

Only explanation is the media is sheltering it. I find it hard to believe a reporter hasn't found a picture of him by now.
I could only speculate as to why. Usually it's because the killer's appearance doesn't fit the narrative they're trying to push. Maybe this time is an exception.

Oh yeah the whole media got on a conference together call and said "lets shelter this photo."

No. They just all got a blanket email from the DMC and WH. Modern technology and shite.
Sort of like they have done with the Paul Pelosi story. Cute that you act like there isn’t massive coordinated messaging in the media.

Pics are few years old, but they are definitely going to try and tie Trump with his grandfather’s campaign message. I am sure even though others are putting hand and leg out for pic they will claim grandfather was doing it as support of Nazis.
After Trump they will probably tie Musk relaxing Twitter censorship, commenting on libs of tiktok, & unbanning Trump’s account yesterday.
That’s supposed to be him in the red shorts several years ago. That’s only pic Heavy has found so far.

Facebook posts made by his mother reveal he had been dealing with mental health issues. She posted often about her son in a Facebook group for women involved in the Church of the Latter Day Saints in the Colorado Springs area. In one post in July 2021, she asked for help finding a criminal defense attorney, “Hello Sisters. Does anyone know of a fantastic defense attorney? I ask this with a heavy heart but my family really needs some help at this time…
… In February 2022 she wrote, “Hello Sisters. Can anyone please recommend a great trauma/ptsd therapist?” She asked in May 2022, “Can anybody refer my son to a private boxing coach? He’s 6’6” tall and hits like a freight train. Cannot find a good gym or anyone serious. He has made huge life changes and needs this!

Maybe the kid was a closeted gay and a member of the church of latter day saints. Wouldn't be the first time a closeted gay wanted to kill what he was.

In 2021 at least 1055 people were killed by police. Now don't think that its 1055 people the police just killed for no reason.
Im sure some of them might be questionable, but it wasn't an election year so you didn't hear about many of them.
Washington Post
In 2020, this article from 12/15/20 says police had killed over 1000 people up to that date. That was an election year. How many did you hear about? At least 3.
Newsweek
2016 we heard about a few, I forget who they were.. But of course there was that worthless fat frick Alton Sterling who lived in a church because no one else gave a frick about him. He gets shot because he was trying to reach or his gun when police were trying to arrest him, paid protestors come down here, brings more attention to it nationally and results in some head case coming down here and ambushing our police officers and killing 3 and seriously injuring one who later died.
But as for as saying there are not many people who put themselves in position to be killed by police are you speaking in relative terms?
