Well. To be fair, we know exactly where isis is. Their strongholds aren't exactly hidden.
And yes, we should level them. Men women children pets doesn't matter. Total war is how you win. Not precision strikes. Not pot shots.
Dresden, Tokyo, Berlin. We knew where the enemy was. And we bombed the frick out of them. Men. Women. Children.
Unfortunately, they aren't all in the cities. So you would undoubtedly get retaliation strikes. Its much more complicated than it was when we fought set states with set boundaries etc. There is no real 100% solve all solution.

How did that work out in the Vietnam war? All that resulted was a long costly war with the deaths of far too many Americans and veterans that we couldn't afford to take care of.
I don't pretend to know what the answer is, but we've tried this aggressive war on terror and it didn't work.

My argument is that we need to change their values from the inside. A war for the hearts and minds of their children and women.
Dude, their whole life is ran by their religion... what you are proposing will never work
you can't project your feelings and ideals on another culture, especially one that is stuck in the 5th century...they will dismiss it quicker than you can preach it

rouge groups of terrorists?
ISIS has defined boundaries. It has a home field. It has cities and strongholds.
Are there other rouge cells? Absolutely. But we can absolutely take out a solid chunk as well as a big portion of their CoC

Great, so tell me, all you that aren't in favor of beating these frickers to a bloody pulp and throwing your hands up saying "Well it's an ideaology, can't do shite about it". What would y'all do? Seems to me like y'all are willing to accept terrorist attacks on innocent people just because of that "ideaology" bullshite.

You really dont see the difference between state sponsored militarism and rouge groups of terrorists?
You're right but so is TigerSouthland
There is a huge difference, but we've never really fought a proper war in the middle east. Political correctness, liberal media, and rules of engagement have always allowed these people to relocate before we can eliminate them.

You have to start with their children. Build schools in the area that are more friendly to western ideals. It's what we are doing in Afghanistan and it's starting to work. Like I said, it'll take generations but it's the only way right now. And maybe our grandkids will never have to worry about the Middle East problem.

Is it now? What proof do you have of this other than what you are being fed by the liberal media that he made look like fools?
