You're not doing anyone any service. You're going to help ruin this country. Congrats though, pal.

well, bbc is now saying the casualty number is 59.
I thought it was 19 killed and about 50 wounded so that would actually be less than thought. Casualties aren't all deaths...

We need a news network that is really about news and facts..
I don't think something like that is possible anymore. The best we can do is vary the sources you use for news so at least you aren't just getting one slant for the story.

casualty = injured
fatality = dead
just for clarification

They still think that this war is against a religion or a country or a race and not against an idea. They haven't learned anything in 1.5+ decades. They're helpless and they're only going to make things worse. Louisiana public school education on display here. Truly pitiful.
What?

I'm going to guess that you aren't officer material.

when fighting a bully, do you usually look to fight with that bully who wronged you? or do you just go where you thinkhe may be and start punching and kicking every single person in the area regardless if they are affiliated with the bully or not?

Well, I am country first. And my dad use to tell me all the time "it doesn't matter who you support in a presidential election, you always support who is elected, because they are the president of the United States". I have always lived by that "code", but Trump is the exception. That doesn't mean I hope he fails. There are Trump haters who wait for him to fail, but I want him to be successful, because that means the country benefits, but I think he is more toxic than anything.

My argument is that we need to change their values from the inside. A war for the hearts and minds of their children and women.
Bombing them only makes them come together in greater numbers.

We are battling an ideaolgy. You cannot just kill it with bombs.
Was Germany not a nation built upon ideaology in WWII? We firebombed cities, killed hundreds of thousands of people and made their asses quit with the help from Russia and GB.
What about Imperial Japan? Was that not an ideaology we were fighting? They compared their emperor to God himself. We were willing to kill every last soul in Japan if that was what it was going to take. Luckily, two bombs did the job of bringing their "God" to his knees and surrendering. And both countries ended up making it out alright, all things considering. We helped build them back up into economic powers in the world once we subdued them.
You kill an ideaology by force. Not by words.

Hopefully he'll be taking orders not giving them. Given his lack of awareness and a rational thought process, I'd pray for anyone under him. Probably someone who couldn't cut it in school so the fell back on the military.

Trump is the first president wherebi think this axiom doesn't hold true. I honestly believe he ran for president because it would help him acquire more wealth. He's in debt to holders in multiple countries that aren't exactly our friends. Now if he became president he could shape the USA's foreign policy in ways many of the people he owes would be willing to forgive him of his obligations.
Now obviously I'm just guessing and not accusing him of anything, but it is a fact that Trump is in debt to some foreign powers.
Ultimately Trump winning doesn't equal America winning and that's the first time I actually believe this about a president
