Requested admin to hopefully ban you. Your comment is not needed in here. Many of us have children and have naturally put ourselves in this situation. This attack is personal for some and, although I'm sure (hoping) you were just trying to be funny, you weren't.

True. That was a BS move. Why do people assume that if you realize that the current president is an idiot that you nescessarily loved the last president? It's truly surprising. But I guess those are just the people that vote for candidates based on the "R" or "D" by the name.

True, but these arguments seem to be framed in the sense that you have to be all in on everything your side does. Is Trump an ideal president? Far from it, but he seems to be the only one taking a legit, non PC vantage. I've grown to dislike him more since November, but some things he says are only outrageous because the previous guy said it was for 8 years.

Which begs the question, how much coverage do these types of attacks deserve? Because part of the terrorist goal is get as much attention as possible via the media. Make it bloody, make it scary, get the media to show the terror.

I actually agree with this. It gets plastered all over the news, the more it is talked about, the more it spreads fear and the damage goes well beyond the site that was attacked.

In reality, ISIS isn't as big of a threat to the US as Al-Qaeda is. ISIS is going out and doing these attacks to strengthen their "brand" because they want to be known for "shock and awe". But go read about Osama Bin Laden's son Omar Bin Laden

It is believed that he is charismatic leader, similar to his father and while his goal remains the same as his father (to bring the US to its knees), it is also, now personal since the US went in to kill his father.

Yeh, but would we be at a 38 page thread already by coverage of the local farmer's market and what vegetables will be sold this Saturday?

Face it, we love this type coverage, even though we love to say we hate it.

Because you weren't on here bloviating about the last president like you are this one

Because, while I disagreed with the politics of the last president (his stupid comment that if he had a son, his reluctance to say "radical Islam", and his policy of buying votes with handouts) at least he wasn't a narsasitic man-child with boaderlime personality disorder that feels that bragging is more important that national security.

Seriously, Obama' policiesbwere terrible but it's better to have an a-hole running the country than a lunatic.

I hate how everytime something like this happens, some posters use it as ammo to spew their political beliefs in a thread dedicated to updates on the incident.

We have a whole fricking board dedicated to read your political propaganda. Kindly go there and use it

Probably a 50 page thread without all the deletions.

Like someone else said, it's practically impossible to separate terror attacks and politics. Deal with it

If you think telling Russians, that you believe ISIS is using laptops as bombs is such a massive national security issue, then you have an IQ of a banana

No. It really isn't. In a thread about the attack and it's immediate aftermath, all that needs to be discussed is updates on the situation. Not perceived causes or reasoning.

Keep the discussion on topic and politics never will come up in it.
