Exactly. The thugs are entrenched. A little tightening up these frickers will move on to the next town with the quickness. The hood isn't going anywhere. Katrina told us that.

Precisely. They need leaders to start stepping up and calling out their community. Where is Sharpton and Jessie Jackson? If they want to help the black community they need to start focusing on fixing their community instead of civil rights. Everyone knows who is causing all the violence and it is time for them to come out and say it.

I have said all along that Obama had the perfect platform to address the crime in the black community. Regardless of all of his epic failures and clusterfrick decisions he has made, reducing the black on black crime would yield a successful legacy, IMO.
You damn sure don't see Jessie or Rev Al showing up this morning to address the issue. However they would be on it like stink on shite if the shooter(s) were proven to have been white running into a crowd of blacks. Every news outlet in the country would be plastering their smug faces if that were the case. They don't come to help the situation because there isn't any money in it for them.

more shooting in the hood, which would redirect valuable to resources from the Quarter to the hood..
