How is that karma, a-hole? Some innocent people were running in road race and died.

Do they get a “survived” sticker to put on their back window now?

If China says it was 21 then it was probably 121.

Without commenting specifically on what could have been done to prevent this, and meaning no disrespect for the dead, it seems China is capable of royally fricking up pretty much everything, including wet dreams.
If this had already happened somewhere else, China could have reverse-engineered it and been better prepared.

Marathon runners have ALOT of time to ponder.
You think they’d maybe back off after realizing-
Pheidippides was the original Marathoner.
HE frickING DROPPED DEAD IMMEDIATELY AFTER FINISHING THE RUN!!!!!!

Does being deaf make it harder to run? I don’t get it.

How did the news of this event even reach media outlets outside the country?

I’m having trouble figuring out how 21 people, presumably in good shape, could die from running in 30 degree weather.
What did they die of?
What did they die of?

We have amateur meteorologists on this very website that know more about weather than any professional meteorologist in that shite hole, China, apparently.
Did they seriously not know that a fricking ice storm was hours away when they started the race?

Well that's like 2.5 marathons, through mountains. I didn't even know that was a thing. Does it typically freezerain there in May?
