Cause they were checking vaccination cards when people came in. You had to be vaccinated or have a negative test result.

Who is in hospital?

None. No one was hospitalized. They just traced the cases to the music event. Sure the demographic had a lot to do with it.

99% of people who get it are not in the hospital regardless of vaccination status

how neat is that

And now the truth comes out

Statistics are a bitch

Yes, yes they are.

385,000 attendees of which 10% weren't vaccinated = 38,500. And only 76 of them caught the virus = .00197%, or 2 out of 1,000. And some of those might be partially vaxxed.

We care about cases now?

No. WE don't. Unfortunately policy is being made on the # of cases. If policy was being made on deaths then we would be celebrating the fact that we have 4.5x the amount of cases as this time last year but the same number of deaths. We're doing better.

But no. Requiring vaccination to attend class, remain employed, and go to events isn't based around severity, its based around limiting the spread. Pointing out these numbers, and the outbreak in Mass, combined with the data the CDC put out regarding viral load being the same in vax & unvax, and the study axios reported on this week of the Pfizer vaccine only being 42% effective against delta, AAAAND the numbers from over seas... put all that together and it just highlights how bullshite all of these mandates are.

Cause there was no one there who had it to give covid to them, you had to be vaccinated or have a negative test result. Obviously some got through the cracks and got in that had covid but not nearly as many as would have otherwise.

I'm not going to even debate you, because you are dumb as a bag of rocks, but how did twice as many vaxed get it if

I said some got through the cracks obviously. Read the whole post. I guess some got covid after getting the negative test, someone obviously got in that had it but it was probably under 50 people as opposed to hundreds if they hadn't been requiring proof you had been vaccinated or tested negative.

203 cases out of 385,000 attendees with 90+% vaccinated proves the vaccine works great. Its the opposite of the gotcha you thought it was.

99.95% chance you won’t even catch it. We are shutting down and masking up for what again???

From a guy that obviously cannot read words.

So 76 of a possible 38,500 is not "2 out of every 1,000?" Because that was specifically how I worded the comparison. I couldn't help but notice that you intentionally left that part out of your gotcha. I wonder why?

I hate that you ardent anti Covid vaccine posters are making me agree with crimsonfever. 10% of the population accounted for over 1/3 of the cases.

Also as someone else said, how many are in the hospital due to COVID?
