Driving on I-20 late last year, there was a group of three of these vehicles sharing the road with me. We were close to Dallas so we overtook each other several times because of traffic. Two of them had couple but the third had only a driver and was tricked out with a ton of speakers, blasting Super Bowl halftime music. It’s like he was the entertainment for the other two.
They seemed to be enjoying themselves so who am I to judge?

Helluva trackday special, I have driven them a few times at VIR. That said they can be a PITA or impossible to register for road use in a lot of states.
Another vehicle for the OP to consider which IME is a thousand times cooler is a Cobra replica especially if they want something more brash than a MX-5 or Boxster. Just don't get an overpowered one, the short wheelbase and forward weight bias can make them a bear to handle and they are devoid of any safety nets.

Was just about to say the same thing. I think the volume starts at "quarter mile radius" level. There's a reason they included "audio" in the things that are next level. They know no one's buying if they can't get the music loud enough to garner people looking at them.
