I were in the market I would go with a Navigator, Escalade, or Yukon Denali.

All really nice rides, but totally different price category compared to new LC & COMPLETELY different niche. The mommy-mobile herd, in school pick-up line won’t like the new LC because it doesn't have 3rd row, it’s rugged/boxy & definitely doesn’t look like the above makes.

I answered your question in a previous post. Yes it can potentially be imported but you likely won't find a state in the nation that will title and register it with the true VIN and year/model/engine details.

Models older than 25 years from date of manufacture can be legally imported, but there is a process to which one must go through due to federal regulations to gain title and make it legal for road use.

Not for on road use. You might be able to get something through for off road use only but it would still probably be a pain in the arse.

Holler back in 20yrs and see which one is still on the road. That land cruiser, if cared for, will last forever.

none of these vehicles will, they are made of cheap plastic.

I can take care of a ford and it last longer than a toyota.

This is 2023 not 1993.

Whats so funny?

Ive seen a Toyota crap out before 200k and a ford fusion last 450k.

I can take care of any brand and it last.

The asinine comment is saying well if you take care of a toyota it will last. This is true for most things.

Speaking of the trooper, my dads 82 trooper outlasted his 85 corolla.

One example does not make a trend.

How many late 80’s, early 90’s Ford rangers you see on the road? Now do Toyota. Which is worth more when you see two running examples?
