The pacifist Christian stance of “submitting to the government” because of the “will of God” undermines the very Christian faith itself.
If it were really true to the extent the pacifists say then Jesus sinned by going against the temple authorities in the first place and our faith is meaningless.

If you think our government is more powerful than God then I would question your faith. Everything they do is part of his plan whether they know it or not. He is guiding this world

People actually need to learn how to get off the X.
"this is really dangerous, so stay as close to it as possible with little to no information and hope for the best" is not a winning or survival strategy
And learning/training to do it as a community instead of waiting for help from the government is especially effective. Unless your community is NYC or Dearborn MI (and you are White-Christian).
And if it especially bad you can't rely on law enforcement either. Why you ask? Because in extreme cases they will be busy protecting the government who isn't coming for you in the first place... at least not in time.

Terrorist attacks happen. I’m sure the Israelis didn’t expect to be gunned down at the music festival, but sometimes it actually does happen.
No need yet to live your life in constant threat scanning mode, but if Hamas calls on Muslims around the world to do jihad on a particular day, it’s logical to pay a little more attention on that day.
People try to convince themselves that him saying that means nothing. Some go so far as to convince themselves that him saying that makes it LESS likely something would happen today vs any other random day, but that doesn’t make sense.

The chances of a conspiracy theory being real drops exponentially with the size of the conspiracy. Conspiracies of 2 are quite commonplace. And 3. Even, say....19 every now and then.
