There isn't even a road test out for it that I know of.

Guess going midengine was the right move. And for 60K with a 500HP V8 it's a helluva deal.

I hope they make a million of them so I can scoop one up at a nice discount in a few years.

I want to say capacity at Bowling Green is/was around 40K.

I don't know if the assembly of this car would reduce that versus the previous models, but the base price tells me it likely won't.

With 60 year old white males, who'll only drive it with an automatic transmission. As always.

The corvette brand has been ruined for years and it's greatness is lost on the only demographic that buys it. The only people i ever see driving Corvettes are old white men.

They need to be racking up as many backlog orders as they can because once we have to go all electric, it's bye bye Corvette.

Huh?? I'm 39.. I'm seriously considering buying one...

Also, as fun as a manual is, these new dual clutch setups shift so fast its ridiculous.

That’s crazy with a first gen design like that. There is bound to be major teething problems.

The corvette has definitely had some rough years. At least Chevy finally started getting some inspiration from European companies with this new iteration
