I don't know that those would actually be recorded anywhere statistically.

the numbers don't perfectly correlate with racial percentages
I suppose it's not remotely possible that black men commit a disproportionate amount of crimes?

But this is from the Washington Post, and the Orange One told us that's fake.

What I would like to see is how the numbers correlate with poverty levels. It think those would be much closer in relation. Of course, a high percentage of blacks are poor.
But then the conversation is: do they commit crimes because they are poor? Or are the two related to something else? Is poor education the cause? Is it simply that people who make bad life decisions often end up ignorant, poor and have a disregard for rules?

They do, and its not racist to think they do, its just a statistical fact.

Any stats on whether the officer in the shooting was black or white? I'd be interested to se that.

Anybody else think it's fricking insane that nobody keeps stats on this? You'd think the FBI or justice department would have a spreadsheet somewhere or something.

Combine this with the narrative that every black male gets stopped by the police atleast once a week and BAM the shooting per encounter rate is way lower then for white guys.

People that get shot by cops are either
A. Behaving stupidly. This accounts for most.
B. Desperate.
C. Really unlucky, in that they are accidentally shot by police or they run into a truly murderous cop.

Further statistics:
In 2016
915 people killed by police 48 were unarmed (5%)
233 Blacks were killed by police 17 unarmed (7%)
466 Whites were killed by police 22 unarmed (5%)
166 Hispanics were killed by police 8 unarmed (5%)
So Black people are being shot at a higher rate than whites and Hispanic unarmed.

Yes... had 5 more been armed, then it'd be even.

Doesn't pointing that out counter your own argument of police brutality. what difference does it make if they are armed or not unarmed if being fatally killed by police officers? the Left are the ones saying all police are out to murder people...

That's not really a significant enough number to raise a red flag.
Also, being unarmed doesn't mean these people aren't posing a threat.

Why is every racial analysis limited to black and white? What about Asians and Hispanics?
The War on Drugs and militarization of police are legitimate and important topics.
All this who kneels and who doesn't kneel is such a waste of time. Who cares? Everywhere you go, everything is about the kneeling issue - far more coverage than North Korea or the terrible damage to PR.

How about black civilians killed by other black civilians? Just a hunch its a lot more than black civilians killed by police. That number is something that should be more alarming to BLM then how many killed by police.
