I have a 2016 5.7 with around 80k miles. I’m not sure if should keep it forever or sell it while its worth something.

Maybe so, but the tactic has been around forever.

Just traded my 22 gmc sierra 6.2l for a 21 tundra. Now I never have to worry about my truck breaking.

Email sent. Dont think I would ever get rid of my ‘20 (especially since Toyota got rid of V8, huge mistake!). But BIL looking to sell his 08 and I love those reclining rear seats

I have a 1st Gen Tundras with a 4.7L V8. I know two people who have the same truck who have topped 500k. Mine's not there yet,

Most dependable vehicle I have ever owned, by far.

Just paid way too much for a 2016 Tundra, and I'm smitten with it. Drives like a dream, interior is immaculate, exterior has a few minor dings but nothing major. I doubt I will ever get rid of this truck.

I've got a 2012 with 130k miles on it. Plan to keep it for a very long time as I don't drive much clearly.

Do all the maintenance and how far do those old Tundras last?

2002 Limited w/TRD off road package. 4.7L engine that gets 15-18mpg. 225,000miles. Leather interior.

Just bought some Carhart seat covers for $400. That's been my major expense.

Radiator-Good
Transmission-Good
Shocks/Front end bushings-Good
Frame rust-Good
Body rust-Bed has some superficial because I used it frequently as a truck. Top of the cab has rust and the rest of the body has dings and dents.
BUMPERS- These are made out of steel and have taken a lot of abuse, but the chrome never peeled. If I ever look at another truck and it has some kinda plastic bullshite for a bumper, I will never buy it.

Best $29,000 I ever spent.

edit:TRD Off road, not Pro.

Those of you with 100k+ miles have you changed out your shocks and struts? I've heard they're pretty much done around 100k but I'm at 120k and they still seem pretty good. Doesn't ride like new but notice more harsher bumps and body lean.

I had an '03 and it was at least once per month occurrence that someone would come up to me out in public asking if I was interested in selling it. I finally did sell it after buying a '16 Limited a couple years ago, but I still get a tug at my heart when I see a nicely taken care of 1st gen out there. Before making the move I spoke with someone I know who specializes in Toyota's to ask about the 4.7 vs the 5.7. He said the 4.7 is a better engine but it's so close that I'm not likely to ever see the difference. Still have my wife's 4.7L 4Runner and will have it till it dies, which probably won't happen in MY lifetime since it's only got 160K on it.

I have not, but regular drive can be rough especially Louisiana roads. I keep regular alignments but like my old F-150 when pulling a load it’s effortless and drives like a dream.

Bought a 2018 1794 last year from AutoNation w/ 98k miles. I was in the same boat as you. My only complaint is that I didn't wait two more weeks for a 2020 Platinum that became available.

Love the truck so much I gave my son the 2020 Laramie. And the only thing I changed was the head unit. Put one of those fancy screens in it.

This is the first one I have ever owned. And unless they bring back the V8, I'm driving this until it falls apart!

Yes, changed mine at about 150k miles.

I have a 2016 with 185k miles. It’s been such a great truck I refused to trade it when I bought a new truck last week. It’s remarkable how solid it is. Not even a rattle after ten years.
