Froning's cardio is better than everyone else. If he was on anything, it would be EPO.
The greatest thing about watching Froning is that he never slows down. It's very rare for him to be the leader out the gate, but when everyone else starts to slow down, he remains at a constant rate, sometimes even picks up speed.
It makes for really entertaining competition. There's been a number of times where I thought he was going to get smoked, only to have him take the lead with a minute or so left. He's an animal.

I'm having to drop in at a CrossFit gym in Houston this weekend for 15.1
Any recommendations of where to go are welcome.
I hear TTBs are killing everyone. I'll probably break them down to sets of five starting in round one.

I've been crossfitting for about 6 months now......longtime weightlifter. Decided not to sign up but may do some workouts.
Did barbell club this morning with hang clean and jerk complex.
Then WOD
Teams of 4, can't move on til the person in front of you finishes the movement and can't start round 2 until whole team is finished.
Row 1000m
50 thrusters @ 45lbs
30 pull-ups
Round 2
Row 1000m
25 thrusters @ 95lbs
15 chest 2 bars

Oh look retards that think they invented "working" out. Cult fitters are the worst people on the planet and it's not close.

104 & 205#. Pulled 225#, but couldn't get underneath to complete the clean.
1RM is 255, but arms were gassed after the TTB.
May give it another go Monday.

I thought you were more of a beast than that with the way you were talking earlier in this thread

Matt Vincent at Red Stick CF 375# c&J
He's a Highland Games athlete
did one rep on 15.1, then moved to 15.1a
hit 375 clean w/ a push jerk. It's about 6mins in. looking at the leaderboard, it would be the 2nd or 3rd highest C&J at this point.

83 and 217, 45 yo
Last year would have been a 0. I am still the worst toes to bar performer on the planet.
30 pounds down since last year. So that helps.

What were your numbers from 15.1?
Don't think anything I said should have given the impression I would be making a run at regionals. I just know what I'm talking about. I'm almost 40 with bad knees, 2 surgically repaired Achilles tendon ruptures (one of which required a second surgery that cost me function of my big toe) and shitload of other tears. I'll take a 1RM of 255 and my score given that.
Had three guys at our gym do160+ and weights of 265, 285 & 290 (all PRs I believe), but they are all 10-15 years younger.

I haven't done it yet, and I don't really expect to do great. Will Prob get around 90-100 reps & at least 215. but I also wasn't making fun of people for practicing either
We had 15 guys at our gym sign up and 12 had a better 15.1 score, and 8 or 9 went higher than 205. Maybe it wasn't your intent but you came off very arrogant
