I can’t imagine what this scene would’ve looked like, must have been a horror scene.

Seatbelts...

One would think such a dramatic Bethel would require two vehicles hitting each other head-on.
I couldn’t have snailed it better if I’d tried.

A family member just said someone inside said before it crashed that it was making clunking noises and she was concerned.

The old arse 2001 vehicle probably had a major malfunction speeding down the hill and the driver lost control.

I googled limo services in the Albany, NY area and found this. I have no idea if this was the actual vehicle involved but it is an 18-passender Ford Excursion Limo. LINK

It would take several meat wagons and a pressure washer.

I've been in one of those. Didn't realize it was an Excursion. Looked more like an extended van. My old employer used to take everyone who'd been with the company for 20 years to lunch once a year. That's what we took to the old Houston Brennan's.

Not to be morbid but you first responders have to take the limo apart and take every person out on scene right?

Usually the coroner handles all that, but yes, it’s on scene.

Must’ve been going a lot faster than 60 mph.

Pretty horrible story. Feel sorry for those young couples, especially that family that lost four sisters!

My bet is on a brake failure or some other major mechanical failure. Limo industry about to get super regulated, as it should. Last time I was in a limo it was an older Escalade and I was not very comfortable with it.

If none of the passengers were wearing seatbelts, which is typical, a sudden deceleration would have flung them all forward.

Wait so you think seatbelts would have helped them survive this?
