A doctor who I used to work for did physicals for matches in the 1970s. He said that Andre the Giant's blood pressure was outrageously high. He told the promoter that he wouldn't clear him to wrestle. The promoter scratched through the bp reading and wrote in a fake one. He told my doctor that everything looked good to him.
