Honestly the world would be a much better place if we put down most of you posters bashing the breed than the pitbulls themselves.

Meh. My pit rescue is 9 years old and is by far the best dog I have ever owned. He is a mix though, and I’m a responsible person.
People incapable of taking care of a dog shouldn’t own a pit, and probably don’t need to procreate.

I know a friend of a friend, very normal dude. Was a cop, got home in uniform at 3am from a shift, which was completely normal. Walked inside, greeted the dog, again nothing out of the ordinary. Said he was in the kitchen for about 5 minutes, and legit out of nowhere, the dog just ran up and attacked, bit him on the arm. Dog wouldn't let go, he had to pull out his service weapon and shoot it. He now has nerve damage and little use of that arm.
That's certainly the .01%, but there are most stories like that out there.

This! Was going to my response until I read your post. I’m sure the pups have been killed but why waste time bringing them vet unless it’s too much paperwork etc for a cop to discharge their firearm.
