For the Thai women, they start out as bar girls then once they get older they move into the massage space.

The massage was great. The therapist was professional and polite. The shower was the nicest I have seen. The two negatives were that the place was freezing and the bar next door has a golf simulator. Literally, there was a loud THUMP every few seconds. I would go back but will wait for warmer weather and try to get there earlier before the bar gets busy.
Is taking a shower at the massage location a thing? The one I go to has a shower in the bathroom, but I have never given it one thought.

It's up to the client. You can just get a message and not a hand job. They often ask or you ask for "extras".

Even nice establishments have showers. You should always shower before you get a massage. No one wants to rub on your dirty stinky arse.
now an establishment like this likely has a different kind of shower called a table shower, where they will rub you clean.
