I'm all for helping the school but it seems like there's atleast 3 to 4 fundraisers every school year.

Better than selling mattresses as a school fundraiser.

Friend back in LA posted last year about her kid's fundraiser....selling mattresses.

They spent all their money on travel ball and now the school team needs funding. Do your part!

This was for the oldest pioneer(son) last year for band. They wanted you to stick signs in people's yards and everything.

Another one he did last year was selling trash bags.

You should send your kids to Auburn High school. This has been a huge success.

Best $50 bucks you will ever spend.

The only issue I have with stuff like this, is the bull shite they put in my kids head. My kids come home thinking they're going to be the next Zig Zigler or something. I have no problem with fundraisers. I just have a problem with the way they sell this shite on my kids.

I'm not letting them go door to door selling this shite. Mine and my wife's office have a policy against selling this shite. So that basically leaves family. Sometimes they buy stuff, sometimes they dont. Every time my kids come home with this shite I have to bring them back to earth and have the realize that it's not going to be like what they told you at school. We will ask family. If they buy, great. If not, oh well.

My kids are routinely the top sellers. I smile inside when they get recognized in front of the whole school whilst receiving their brand new PS4 and other students go “ooooo, aawwww”.

The schools should sell Teacher p . . . well, the teachers are already giving it away, so, they missed a good fundraising opportunity.

This was my son's first lesson on how capitalism works. I explained you should never work for free unless it's some sort of cause you are into.

Most of these fundraisers gross me out. They depend on child labor and stupid parents.

I have my suspicions about the actual quality of being able to claim finest chocolate in this world.

We just write a check for $125 per kid at orientation and that absolves school from doing fundraisers throughout the year. Worth it.

That's becoming a popular one. Seems like it started in high school marching bands.

Seems like the logistics of that would be a pain in the arse though.

Have to raise funds.

And ostracize those that don’t contribute.
