We live in a country where all a police officer has to do to justify killing another man is "be in fear for his life". But what about us, the citizens he is supposed to be protecting. What do we do when the one putting our lives in fear is the police? Think about it.
If a cop pulls you over for nothing, you have a right to be pissed, but I can almost guarantee you that he's not just going to randomly decide to put a bullet in your head, even if he is a hood wearing clansman. Don't resist, don't take a swing at him, and you will survive the encounter.
It may be a messed up practice for him to pull you over in the first place, but your life is not in danger, so you can't say you were in fear for your life. Don't give them the ability to say they were in fear for there life. I think some police use their position to push people around, but it's not life threatening until you escalate it.
I don't think people understand the responsibility of carrying a gun. You have no idea the mindset and intentions of those you are dealing with. A guy doesn't deserve to die for knocking someone else out. But if you are carrying a gun and think, this guy might be able to knock me out and take my gun. You don't know if that guy would use it on you.
I know there have been situations where there has been blatant murder by police officers, but the cases that have been in the headlines lately aren't ones to stand behind to get the point across. I doubt there would have been much use of force at all if the victims would have just submitted to the police. And don't give me the whole I shouldn't have to submit to an officer if I haven't done anything wrong, because the victims have been guilty of at least something in recent cases.

Per the police captain it was 125 yards and they are "pretty sure" it was with a pistol
125 yards with a pistol? That's some sharp shooting right there.

How many small arms do those 280m own vs 1m?
Gotta counterbalance that number BAW!
When was that made illegal again? We carry "small arms" constitutionally so we can PROTECT ourselves from OUR OWN GOVERNMENT.

The rule of thumb is one MRAP per department, Estevez said. He said the Pentagon will reconsider its decision to provide the vehicles - built for the U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and unavailable on the open market - to police. "This is one of the areas that we’re obviously going to look at," he said.

Now they're finding out they can't afford them (upkeep).
It would be the same thing if I gave Festus a Lear.
He couldn't afford to fly it, store it or even ride in it.

I remember one guy blamed slavery for the reason my dad wouldn't hire him.
Gotta move on, people.

well, there was 1 thing keeping the cops from beating down the losers out there protesting, it was the fact that no police officer had been injured(cept a few cuts from rocks).
The gloves are off, these losers, deadbeats, and White guilters better stay on the sidewalk, and not block the streets tonight. If they even have the balls to go out there.

If you're still a cop in Ferguson, you're one dumb SOB.

It will get out of hand and Obama will bring in UN peacekeepers to take over.

This is what is wrong with all of us. Survive the encounter. What in the hell is important enough on a day to day basis that a normal individual will get pulled over for that they have to think about surviving the encounter?
Speeding, running a stop sign? God damn Johnny Commando doesn't need to get jacked up because some granny didn't hear his "commands"

Slavery, segregation, Jim crow laws
All gone now. They've been replaced with EITC, welfare, food stamps, HUD, and affirmative action. You should be happy.

Yes, those were horrible times. But it's about time to let it go.
6 million jews were tortured, experimented on and exterminated in Germany. Guess what? JEws live in Germany today and are fairly peaceful. They've proven healing can happen.
Irish and Italians were treated like scum and subhuman as well. They've adapted and are doing well in this country.
It's time to let the past be the past. None of the people alive today had anything to do with those atrocities. By not taking responsibility on any wrongdoing ever and by not aspiring to be better, the black community stays down with a "loser" mentality unfortunately. There are tons of scholarship specifically for blacks, there is affirmative action to assure they can get in schools, there are laws to assure they get hired. If you want it, you can do it. The only thing holding them back is not society. It is the culture they're raised in. Fatherless, no ambition, look to illegal activity to make money, no personal responsibility.

i would love to see what miss jupiter has to say.
she was the tard who got pushed over by other protestors, and then tired to claim the cops pushed her over. lol they neded up getting tired of her and arrested her.
she blocked me on twitter, for calling her out as a liar. On video she says, that shes not sure what happened, could of been she did it herself or a protestor fleeing pushed her over.
She's watched many episodes of law and order, quincy, and LA Law. She knows the law and the laws of the land. lol

Not really. Louisiana has more legal guns per-capita than any other state in the union

Got a link? 60% of the residents in Wyoming own a gun for instance.
The population of the state of Wyoming= Population of EBR & Acension Parish

This mentality is propagated by the media. They would have you to believe that everyone is in fear for their lives from the police. It's ridiculous.

Militarization of police has more to do with policy and attitude than equipment. Every citizen is seen as a potential enemy and methods of dealing with the public are antagonistic
