Gotcha. I didn't pick up on the sarcasm. Honestly, it's tough to in this thread. There are many that believe what you posted, and sincerely hate police officers with a vengeance no matter what, and will always blame the cops for ANYTHING, and give the criminal thugs a pass (read 7th Wards feelings).

What people are sick of is every Podunk, numbnuts police department having a "SWAT Unit" or an MRAP or a arsenal full of riot gear.
It is expensive, it is not needed, and most departments are so poorly trained they can't use the stuff anyway.
And the attitudes and MOs brought on by militarization are more troubling than the equipment.

Saying one thing as a troll and saying one thing out of anger are two different things. Point being, we have cops, people we trust to execute the law fairly and justly, with mind frames such as that. Do you not see the problem with that. With everything going on between blacks and cops dating back to the Jim crow era, can you not see how things like that will further add on to the distrust that African Americans have with police? Can you not empathize? Can you not put yourself in someone else's shoes and see it from their perspective and understand? Not just directed to you, but all who read this.

I'm all for change but both sides have to change.
I'm certain that if one did, the other wouldn't sadly.
If all communities were like Mayberry we wouldn't have cops with ARs.
Change is needed. Both sides have to change though. It's becoming like the Palestinian issue in a way in that neither side will change until the other changes. Not happening.

can you put yourself in the cops shoes and see it from their perspective and understand some of the animosity that they might have towards certain African American communities?
