I was playing with a pitbull the other day. I was at a friends house and his neighbor, an older man, adopted one. I know they are dangerous if they come from the wrong environment, but that was the sweetest dog.
After I pet him for a little while, when I stopped he would use his head to push up on my hand like he wanted me to keep petting him. I started petting him again, he then gave me a big lick on my hand and laid down right next to me and fell asleep.

See, there’s something called statistics, and the statistic on dog attacks is pit bulls are trash dogs with a significant higher death rate than other dogs.
Any big dog can kill a person. Pit bulls just do it way more.

Every Great Dane I’ve ever been around has been a gentle giant, so I’d suspect those 2 have been mistreated, maybe by the mauled person.
