One in Washington State. In his 40's, the other in New Jersey. In his 70's.

With a wife that's a SICU Nurse this us my biggest fear. A shortage of Doctors and Nurses to deal with this because they contract it themselves.
That's why it's important to lay low for a while and quit being a macho d-bag going out drinking in large masses. Shits real. We can help by doing our part though.
If everyone hunkers down for a bit it won't be as bad and we can go back to our normal lives sooner.

How many doctors contract the flu every year and are out for a week... Probably more than 2

I agree with not going to large indoor crowds or crowded spaces. But the desire some people
On this board have to shut everything down for 2 weeks is ridiculous

Not saying not go to work. If you can't pay your bills you probably shouldn't be eating out and going to bars then.

Most of the deaths that have occurred in the healthy, under 50 population has been doctors and nurses... yes, it's one more reason that people need to take it seriously.

Listen to Trump's press conferences about this. They hammer on this over and over. Now they need to get the people in place to do the "parking lot testing" but this needs to be done to keep our docs and nurses away from these people. Even the great health care system in our country can't handle the millions of people who can get this is we don't follow direction.

My brother is a surgeon in Cali. He said he’s been in rooms multiple times with other doctors and nurses who have symptoms. He said if they all self quarantine there would be no one to treat people. He said it’s always a hazard of the job.

3 NOFD crews have been exposed now. Can’t wait to see Latoya’s plan when she’s out of firefighters.

Administration’s decision for the last crew exposed was to wear mask and gloves for 24 hours and stay on duty.
Meanwhile we don’t have enough PPE to protect us, but we’re still being sent on medical calls. No one has been sent to the stations to clean them after the exposures, but Latoya is on social media as if she’s a doctor.
These are the people running a city. fricking incredible.

JFC........ if this virus was as bad as the media and come on this board says/believes that it is, then how come all the homeless people aren't dropping dead from it?

The are not stocked up on hand sanitizer, water, toilet paper, their immune systems are compromised AF dude to living in filth and the daily drug usage.

People need to turn off the TV's, phones, internet and go outside and live your life. Enjoy the sunshine, outdoors and stop living in fear.

How would the homeless catch it?

You do realize it came from travelers. Then they go to the store and social gatherings and spread it. No where the homeless are.
The homeless stick to themselves, their own community of homeless. Plus their immune systems aren’t built off pharmaceuticals, they’re use to fighting off shite on their own.
