Joined in 2005 so I could see blondies side boob avatar. It was worth it. Years later I’m still here and it’s one of the few websites I visit daily. Entertaining and keep up on a lot of current events and lingo

I've posted on online message boards of varying kinds for... shite, over 25 years? Everything from Dandy Don to game clan forums. I like the mix of long form rapid interaction combined with information permanence. Things like Discord will never scratch that itch for me because it's too fleeting, and things like Twitter will never scratch that itch for me because it's too soundbitey. Online forums are my Goldilocks.

Here since 08. This is really the only social media I use. I check out Twitter too, but I don't post very much there. I've never had Facebook, Instagram, etc. It's just way too much. I don't want to get addicted to anything else. These two are plenty for me.

Joined during the Katrina thread. Im addicted because you can find breaking news faster here than anywhere else on the internet. And you baws make me belly laugh. The culmination of life experience here also yields itself to some quality information across a wide range of topics.
