Open southern borders def play a part. But childhood vaccinations even among white middle to upper class Americans are starting to fall

And, American republicans support for requiring MMR for school had plummeted (check the year out……)

Covid completely changed the game. It isn’t just illegals. White, privately insured adults are choosing not to vaccinate their kids now

This is just the beginning.
Lots of diseases we had previously wiped out are going to come roaring back via the Southern Border.
Thanks, Crawfish, Rice, Seafood, Sugar, Petrochem and Construction for resisting the temptation to put profit over Country and Safety!

No.

But it is one of the most contagious diseases in the world, and it is proven to be entirely preventable from a vaccine that has been used safely since the 70s.

Even excluding preventable deaths that tally in the millions globally, the vaccine also is effective at keeping people productive at work and in school versus home sick.

It’s a no brainer except for those with no brain.

It is surprising how many 20-30 year old college educated parents I know that are refusing to vaccinate their children.. they were.. their parents were…

But they then have no problems rushing their children into the emergency to have the doctors pump these same children full of drugs when they come fine with something..

Also, is this where we say “if you are vaccinated why do you care? You can’t catch it right? Or does your vax not work?????”

I'm interested in this one. If those illegals are bringing in diseases, why are y'all catching it? Did your kids get a "shot" and not a "vaccine?"

You can understand the resistance to the Covid-19 vaccines but the measles and most other vaccines were thoroughly vetted, tested and shown to be both effective and safe.

But some idiots who complain about the science being political still listen to fake science like vaccines cause autism even when the author of the paper making the claim they use admitted to fabricating data.

But hey, it’s all a huge conspiracy to get people to become robots.

The poll showing Republicans getting wary of vaccines (although MMR seems stupid) post-Covid isn't surprising. When you get lied to by the entire health apparatus of the United States, it's an almost reasonable response.

But the idea of mandates being less popular among Rs than Ds before is weird. I think the anti-vaccine crusade began pre-Covid and I assumed it was largely on the white suburban left.

Encouraging vaccines is dangerous territory on this board.

Not getting an MMR vaccine based on antivaxxer "science" is really really dumb. Fighting it based on someone forcing you is also stupid.

It's funny because southern states have typically had the strictest school vaccine requirements in the land in the past.

Mississippi didn't allow "religious" exemptions until 2023.

no it isn’t. Pre 2019 nobody gave a flying frick on this board about schools and forced vaccines or employers and forced vaccines

When very very rare threads did pop up, this board made fun of the people fighting childhood vaccinations as requirements for schools….

It honestly warms my heart to know you are against MMR and other vaccines and think it’s all a gimmick those diseases disappeared here

Validates every argument we have had on my end
