I was in basic training, I remember it. No a/c in the barracks in those days.

Have you moved onto kittens, puppies or humans yet?

We have had approx. 7 warm days.
We basically went from spring to fall.

It got down in the mid 50's at night last week here. Highs in upper 60's/low 70's. Weird.

I lived in Ponchatoula that summer. We had about 17 days in a row over 100 degrees. At least that's what I recall.

I think that was the summer I moved to Ponchatoula. I don't remember it affecting me at all.

I was 21 working a summer job with Combustion Engineering in IA, IL and OH. It was hot and the A/C was broken in my '69 Chevy Malibu.

I was 9 and it was really hot, but didn’t keep us from playing outside all day. We survived.

I worked helping build a fence line on my uncles ranch in Denton that summer. My parents thought it would be a good idea to learn what real work was.

I didn’t enjoy that summer.

I was 9 in Houston and it was hot as shite. Didn’t stop us from playing outside though but I’m sure we were at the pool as much as possible.

I was 8. I remember pulling up to our community swimming pool and the thermometer read 103. I walked barefoot on the concrete before jumping in after my mother told me not to. Unwise decision by me.

I was driving a VW bug at the time with no A/C, only window cooling, but I don’t remember it being more miserable than usual. I was young too though, doing shite all the time, and not as sedentary or huddled inside and addicted to the A/C as I am now, so there’s that.
