I worded my message horribly.

From the seller's point of view, what would be the best way to sell an original 69 Vette?

Bought a 4 door 1969 Ford Fairlane the day I turned 15 in 1982.

$400

Had 1,200 miles on it.
Not 12,000
1,200

The only value cars from that era have is nostalgia, today’s muscle cars blow all of them away in every performance measurement, and do it getting 25MPG,

But that's not really the point is it?

The fact is all of the cars in this thread were designed and built using slide rules and hand drafted on drafting tables and that's amazing.

Yeah...that's the point.

There is a unique driving feel to vintage and modified vintage cars. You truly have full control, no traction controls, no anti-skid, no nanny aids.....just you, the machine and the open road/track.

Lots of newer performance cars are so refined and have aids it's very hard to get yourself in trouble throwing the car around.

Cars stopped being works of art shortly after 1969.

Takes me back. I owned a 1969 Camaro in that exact color. Man I loved that car.
