Learned when I was a teen never go into another man's home trying to smash his daughter
And never, ever run out of the closet when the dad says he's armed.

Unless you have Remo Williams type skills

Especially when you're naked and can't find your clothes

Really simple: It went down like this
"Hello my name is @#$@#$ You tried to frick my daughter, prepare to die!" BANG!!!

He was in the home and he wasn't supposed to be there.
What part of the definition of "intruder" does the author of the story not understand?
so many places to frick on neutral ground, totally unnecessary

Definition of intruder
He was not an intruder

Well he's dead so... I doubt it

hmmm. uh, well, humph
A 14 year old doesn't have the legal authority to invite someone into a home she doesn't own. That authority can only come from the homeowner. And since she knew he wouldn't authorize it, the dead kid wasn't legally invited in

Yeah let's just ignore the fact that the daughter brought him into the house.

The guy wasn't a criminal nor did he break into the home.

and if the shooter shot his wife?
Wife would have had a legal expectation of being in the house
The intruder did not. He was invited in by a minor, who has no legal authority to do that. Otherwise your kids could dispose of your assets, and you couldn't object to it
