Is ending a genetic line that has managed to survive since the beginning of man one of them?

Failing in your biological imperative? Ceding the future to idiocracy?

im not a childfree person, but making huge decisions based on how you might feel when you're about to die is retarded.

Living this life right now and loving it...also know we want to change that probably sooner than later. Thankfully my wife thinks like me and wants to make sure we fully enjoy just being with each other before we bring a kid into it.....will never understand people who get pregnant a month after getting married.

What if I told you there are people out there who are married without kids because they either physically can not, or are honest enough with themselves to know they would not make good parents?

My children are without a doubt the best thing to ever happen in my life. They make me want to be a better person, and I'll never stop trying to give them every opportunity they need to be happy and successful. Pure undying love for another is a remarkable experience that easily trumps any list you can come up with.

I'm sorry you'll never experience this kind of love in your lifetime.

You are going to get downvoted like a motherfricker for this but this list is so accurate. The wife and I love the kid free life of being able to travel whenever the frick we want

Good for you. Guess what? I can do it all too with kids.

And does anyone think we don’t drink on play dates?

Would you assholes cut it out already?

We don’t want kids, ok. There’s no need to tell everyone every 8 seconds.

You’re making us look like attention starved nurses with the look at me bullshite.

There are some valid points in there, but some of that list is just dumb.

If you need clickbait to convince you being child free is awesome, you're probably desperately trying to convince yourself.

You can't to the types of trips we do with young kids and actually enjoy yourself

We didn’t want to start trying right away either. Wanted to enjoy married life as well without kids. Then for almost a year seriously considered not having kids. Then decided we do. And have spent the last almost 5 years trying with no luck.

Just saying.....you don’t have as much time as you really think you do. If kids are anywhere on the radar for you two....at least get tested to make sure you and your wife don’t have any fertility issues. And yes....I was 34 when I got married. But.....I know women much younger that struggle to have kids. That had no reason to think they would have trouble getting pregnant.

If I would have known what I know now.....I would have done things so much differently right after we got married.

No kidding. They're the same as the "I'm a Vegan" or "No carbs for me, I'm keto" crowd.

counterpoint....would be nice if people with kids would quit asking us when we were going to have them. Maybe without this shite, child free people wouldn't feel the need to defend it so much
