Key point as to why she’s commanding that amount.

I’d rather not sign up to continue reading. What’s the court case?

Is this for her to be an expert witness?

Furniture company that is making her branded furniture and the materials supplier are in a lawsuit over the materials.

Gaines found the discrepancy, but isn’t a party to the suit. She offered to provide a written deposition but the supplier wanted her verbal testamony. So this was her response.

if its a civil case she can tell that subpoena to frick off. She can charge a fee to be a witness. I know this because I have done it. Had to fly to NYC to be deposed in a case between a Venture capitalist and a company I used to work for. I charged for my time and travel expenses. If deposer doesnt agree he can frick himself and his subpoena.

Not at all, but she isn’t drop dead gorgeous either. Quite honestly, she’s the quintessential "girl next door" look. I do think people have a peculiar fascination with her.

So HGTV palaver is worth 150k per hour?

I’m guessing the next foreclosure cycle is closer than I thought.

Give me a break. I think she’s hot, but that’s just my opinion. However, she is objectively attractive.

She is rich and famous. You’re posting on tigerdroppings. Yes, clearly she’s the dumb one.

Well that's just not true. If you're subpoenaed, you can demand a fee and can either move to quash the subpoena or can seek the Court's intervention on setting a fee if y'all can't agree. But a subpoena is still a subpoena, with no distinction between a civil or criminal suit, so telling them to frick off is not a good idea.

I know this because I send them all the time.
