True but the vast concentration of violent crime in BR occurs in NBR. It’s a major issue.
Is it the high concentration of white cops leading to that violent crime?

frick you It’s like you are fricking giddy a kid got killed in SBR just so that you can call the board racists You have serious issues Focus on the fact that 2 kids have been shot, 1 killed & both more than likely because of something their parents were involved in
So you’re just going to overlook the fact that the OP used two terrible situations to make a point about how he feels BRPD isn’t the problem too. No, the OP, yourself, and others are the ones with issues. I’m not saying the board is racist, but you seem to be. The fact that you’re okay with the OP posting what he did shows me all I need to know. You guys just wait for the moment you can point to any shooting as a way to excuse the actions of police. See it’s not the police they’re killing each other...blah blah blah. I really feel sorry for you. It must be depressing living with this mentality. Straight up trash.

I agree, but there are so many that just wait for any killing to occur to somehow justify that they don’t believe we need police reform. It’s disgusting

This
How bout black culture reform? How bout we start demanding reform In the black communities Where this type of shite is rampant instead of blaming institutions that are easily made scapegoats for the failures of a distinct group of human beings?

It’s really sad when a child can’t feel safe within her home. There is a serious problem there. I don’t know what the solution is but it’s not making jokes.
Fatherhood
Fewer children out of wedlock
Marriage
Education
But the system is rigged for whites...?

It’s about white people trashing NBR every chance they get and lumping every murder into NBR
Now I’ve seen it all, someone defending north Baton Rouge because crime can happen anywhere

And where this happened might quite possibly be the most ghetto area in one of the most dangerous cities in the country.

BRPD is a part of the problem too
How?
Did BRPD shoot the girl in her bedroom?
I’ll admit - BRPD is not perfect, but I’m not sure how they play a role in thugs shooting each other.

I didn’t know the white supremecists were in NBR.

Do you think police are a problem or the problem plaqueing blacks?
Look up the stats on black crime...its a flicking disgrace...none of us should be subject to it...
Its all about black culture of being perfectly ok with 3 out 4 black children born into a fatherless households.
Only blacks can "fix " it...with the help of God almighty.
Police get called into black communities...they would much rather not be there...

Lester will be along to sympathize with the shooter

That’s their fricking job- crime prevention. Seems like they fail at it more often than not.
Maybe uniform patrol isn’t to blame, but their chief Murphy Paul sure is. He’s complicit in the Mayor’s failure to provide for a safe community.

I get what you are saying but there’s no way to predict when the tribes are going to be restless - they can’t sit in every house in NBR (or any other area) and wait for illegal activity - how do you prevent a shooting at 2 in the morning?
However, I do blame the mayor for letting this get out of hand. Many police officers have told me she basically doesn’t want anyone arrested unless they’ve committed a violent crime - so if you can not arrest a suspicious person or someone who’s causing trouble or - there is no crime prevention

What time we going to protest ?
Posted on 9/7/20 at 11:30 pm to tigerinthebueche
You cannot prevent homicides with police. That's a fact. In 90% of homicides, perpetrators have some form of relationship with the victim and are intent on killing them. A police officer's presence is irrelevant. They'd do it in front of a cop.
