14-year-old girl shot multiple times in NBR while in her bedroom

Police say the 14-year-old was in her bedroom, in the 1500 block of North 47th Street, when she sustained gunshot wounds around 2:20 a.m. Police believe the bullets were fired from outside.
Officials say she was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have opened an investigation into the shooting.

Regardless of politics, still a sad situation. Never good to hear of somebody getting shot, much less a teenager. Hope they find the bastards quick and serve justice hard.

It’s really sad when a child can’t feel safe within her home. There is a serious problem there. I don’t know what the solution is but it’s not making jokes.

It’s one thing to shoot at each other but to shoot at a house when you have no clue who you will hit it’s another level of disturbing
