Yep. Never heard about it till I was in Navy and a buddy from PA had a hs team mate that wrestled w him at LSU

What year did this take place. I graduated in 1984 and had a roommate my FR year (1980-1981) who was on the wrestling team. I got to know a few other wrestlers that year (I know it wasn't my roommate as he flunked out with something like an 0.8 GPA.)
