14 f150 engine light on

Had a SmartStart interlock system installed in a 14 f150 eco boost. the next afternoon my engine light came on. it has be on and off for about two weeks. Is this a serious problem or should i not worry about it. Truck is running fine as far as i can tell

take it to any parts store and they'll tell you exactly what the reason for the code is. It's free.

PCM is probably throwing a code for something to do with the ignition. Without it properly tuned in, its probably detecting the smartstart and thinking there's something wrong.
