I don't know or understand Louisiana's justice system. What I do understand is that large neighborhoods in cities all around the United States are uninhabitable by good and decent people OF ALL RACES due to our own homegrown terrorists. How the frick did we get to the point of simply accepting that you can't pass Martin Luther King Drive in most any fricking city for fear of getting shot, and still find that acceptable?
How do we all say that's disgusting when we daily see a story about a child rapist, or human trafficking ring, then turn forget about it while that person has some years taken away and then released, and continue on with our lives until it repeats itself and we make a token gesture yet again.
Kill these people, make the United States BETTER as a whole, save taxpayer money, and make this behavior so taboo that rates will drop.

In this context, the word "consent" should not even be used as it suggests she played some part in her own rape. Instead they should describe it as him manipulating the child into what happened since this is a more accurate description of the rape.

What is not possible is he received consent from her to go into the bathroom and have sex with him. A 13 year old can no more consent to that than can a 5 year old.

I really hope it doesn't. The prison rodeo is one of the most fun things this state has to offer and the crafts show is top notch.
And if the do cancel the entire thing I hope they leave him unprotected in Gen pop for the rest of his term.

that is 1000% POSSIBLE. Not saying its what happened. But yeah, young adolescent girls are some of the most manipulative bunch there is.

We don't know the full account of this case but do you really find it inconceivable that a 13 year old girl could have been the aggressor? Lots of girls are sexually active at that age. But, of course, that in no way reduces the adult's legal responsibility to refuse. It's still rape but there are more than your two scenarios.

dude, this is not some 17 year old high school class slut. It's a 13 year old who's still in Middle School and might not even have started puberty yet. She's still a child.
